United Compass was born not from theory, but from battle-tested urgency. During the chaos of disrupted global trade, delayed customs, and uninspected goods slipping through the cracks, we stepped in.
Our mission? Ensure importers never again lose time, money, or trust due to preventable factory or freight issues. We built a boots-on-the-ground solution, tailored, transparent, and fiercely committed to the success of your supply chain.
In 2009, our founder relocated to China, not to spectate, but to immerse in the heartbeat of global manufacturing.
Over the next decade, he walked factory floors in over 70 cities, towns, and industrial zones across China. From textile mills in Fujian to LED assembly lines in Guangdong, from billboard vinyl manufacturers to tire foundries, to hardware plants producing bolts, tools, stonework, and electronics he negotiated directly, and almost always face-to-face.
In the early years, he handled small, hands-on operations. Then, driven by necessity and vision, he scaled to serve importers with complex needs, managing everything from sourcing to final QC. This full-spectrum exposure built not just know-how, but strategic awareness, the kind you only get after years inside the system, not watching it from the outside.
Over time, the logistics landscape changed. Post-COVID delays, port bottlenecks, and cost inefficiencies pushed global trade into chaos. That’s when the idea took hold: why wait for problems at destination, when you can prevent them at origin?
Thus, United Compass was born. An inspection-first company forged from real experience on the ground. We specialize in previos en origen (pre-clearance inspections), factory audits, quality control, and loading supervision. Our mission is to give importers peace of mind before their cargo even moves.
